Building a new home, adding on a room addition, new sunroom, screened in porch or patio? How about a swimming pool or hot tub? Need a horse stable, shed to store your new camper or what about a greenhouse?
Remember all construction measuring over 200 square feet requires a permit.

To expedite your request you may complete the application below and bring it to Coopertown City Hall Monday thru Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or Fridays from 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Note: Commercial Developers please call City Hall for fee schedule.
NEW CONSTRUCTION:
Living Space Enclosed = $1.00 per sq. ft.
Living Space Unenclosed (Porches & Sunrooms) = .50 cents per sq. ft.
Non-Living Space Enclosed (Garages) = .25 cents per sq. ft.
Non-Living Space Unenclosed (Carports) = No Cost
Decks Covered and Uncovered = No Cost
Singlewide Trailer (New or Used) = $1,000.00
REMODELS:
Enclosed (Room Additions and floor plan changes, etc.) = $1.00 per sq. ft.
Unenclosed 200 sq. ft. or less = No Cost
Unenclosed 201 sq. ft. or more = $100 plus Civil Engineering Costs
OUT BUILDINGS:
Enclosed (storage sheds, garden sheds, etc.) = .25 per sq. ft.
Unenclosed = No Cost
Farm Use Out Buildings (must have minimum of 4 acres & Zone AG) = No Cost
SWIMMING POOLS:
Above Ground = $100.00
In-Ground = $250.00
DRIVEWAY PERMITS:
$50.00 - Driveways having a grade of >8% may require a Civil Engineer inspection/specification fee + 5% Administration Fee.
